Steve Maybee

Biography of Steve Maybee as Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure at Edmonton International Airport

Steve is the Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure at Edmonton International Airport. Steve was born and raised in St Albert graduating from Paul Kane High School and went on to serve in the Military Reserves for four years. He attended post-secondary school and spent time working in the oil and gas with Chevron Canada in northern Alberta.

Steve joined Edmonton Airports in 1992 and has held a variety of positions throughout his time at the airport. He started in Contracts and Procurement where he obtained is Professional Designation in Supply Chain Management (SCMP) and led the Procurement and Contracts department through two major terminal expansions before moving into the position of Director of Human Resources. Steve later joined the Operations department as Manager Airside Operations and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in August 2014. In August 2018, the Infrastructure department was added to his portfolio.

Steve is a member of the Edmonton Salutes Committee and is a Director on the Aviation Alberta Committee.

Steve lives in Edmonton with his wife Lisa and 2 children, Erica and Daniel.

Peter Zhou

Chief Marketing Officer
Huawei Wireless Solution

Dr. Yuefeng Zhou is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Huawei’s Wireless Solution. Dr. Zhou leads marketing strategy, marketing programs, brand building and demand generation across Huawei’s portfolio of wireless network products and solutions.

Dr. Zhou joined Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd. in 2008, and has held several senior leadership positions including Director of Mobile Innovation Center (MIC) for the Wireless Network Product Line Management Department in Europe, Chief Operation Officer for the FDD LTE Product Line, and President of Small Cell & Wi-Fi Wireless Networks.

Dr. Zhou has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 16 years and has extensive experience across planning, R&D, production, marketing and services. In 2000, Dr. Zhou began his career in telecoms-related R&D and before joining Huawei he worked for Fujitsu Laboratories Europe and NEC Europe.

Dr. Zhou received his PhD degree from the University of Edinburgh in UK. He also holds the MSc and BEng degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China.
